Mini Barn Quilt Workshop
Students will draw and paint a barn quilt (using a sponge dabbing technique that provides smooth and brilliant results) on a light and durable 1x1 (12 inch by 12 inch) foot aluminum composite board.
Students may choose a quilt design from a group of popular options provided by the instructor.
Workshop includes preparing the work surface, drawing the grid pattern/barn quilt design on the board, and the taping and painting process. Students may take extra paint home if they do not finish their barn quilts or for touch-ups. The instructor provides many paint color options or the students may bring their own custom colors (be sure to purchase high quality outdoor paint such as Valspar Duramax or Sherwin-Williams Exterior).
All materials for the barn quilt are included in the course fee (with the exception of any custom paint colors desired by the student).
