December First Friday
Artists MAY NOT vend in the streets for this event because there will be so many other planned Town Activities.

VENDING RULES FOR THIS EVENT:

Artists will vend in a special Artist Market area set up in the North Depot Street Parking Lot across from Lost Province. Artists MAY NOT VEND IN THE STREETS.

  • Artists are allowed to bring flame resistant 10x10 tents. Please bring a fire extinguisher if you have one.
  • Artists must bring 40lb weights to keep the tent from flying away in the wind. Artists who do not bring weights will not be allowed to vend due to the risk to other artists and patrons.
  • Artists should NOT expect help setting up tents and should bring help or organize with other artists to help each other set tents up.
  • Designated time for set up will be between 2:30 and 4:00pm. People will start coming downtown for festivities between 4 and 5pm.
  • A town or WAC representative will check in vendors and open the parking lot for them to set up.
  • The parking lot will be closed after 4pm. If you come after 4pm you will have to pull into a nearby parking space to unload. There is an unloading zone across the street next to Drip. Bring a wagon or something to make it easier to haul. We will also mark off two parking places in the Post Office Parking lot for loading and unloading. YOU MUST move your car to park it elsewhere as soon as you have finished unloading.
  • For the safety of those attending the festival and your fellow artists, you may not break down your vending tent until 8pm or later. If you wish to end early or walk around you may cover your tables or bring your inventory to your car, but leave the tent until the event is over.
  • When you enter the parking lot drop your stuff off quickly - DO NOT begin to unpack or set up your tent before you move your vehicle to a parking space outside the vending area. h
  • There is a large solar awning that artists can table under and there is space for 10ft tent vending.
  • Please let us know if you plan to vend under the solar panel instead of bringing a tent. There is limited space available.

SUGGESTIONS:

  • DO NOT BRING TOO MUCH. Because this event is only a few hours, you do not need to bring enough inventory for an 8 hour event. For you own sake, please bring a reasonable amount of inventory.
  • We suggest bringing a battery pack and lights for your tent. It gets dark around 5:30.
  • As always, you are responsible for your own payment options. Wifi will not be provided. Square does have an offline sales option or you can bring a hotspot.
  • Bring table cloths for your tables.
  • Dress warm.

Failure to abide by these rules could expel you from being able to participate in the future.

Keep an eye peeled on your inbox for any and all updates related to this event.
