Looking to solidify your oil painting practice and make it a regular part of your artistic routine? Or, do you find yourself stuck on a painting and could use some guidance? Whether you're currently working on oil painting projects at home or have taken one of Lindsay's classes and want to further hewn the skills learned in class, this “guided painting” course offers the perfect opportunity for refinement. This class is for students who have limited or moderate experience with oils and want to develop their own styles and techniques.

About the Artist: 

Lindsay Carroll is an award-winning oil and pastel artist living and working in the High Country of North Carolina. She received her formal training at a young age from the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities, where she studied from 2007-2009. Her methods—which blend classical and contemporary realism— will be explored in WAC courses where students will work with oil, charcoal, and pastel. Courses may explore a variety of subject matter or may be centered upon the figure and figurative realism.
